Privacy policy

What data do we process?

• The values you enter (height, weight, sex, country) are sent to the server to calculate the result, and forgotten once the response is sent. They are not written to a database, linked to your identity or used to build a profile.
• Technical request data (IP address, browser type) is kept in memory for at most 15 minutes for the rate limit that prevents abuse. We keep no persistent access log; the hosting provider may keep standard server logs.
• Share links (/r/…) and share images contain only the category, country, sex and value — nothing about who created them.
• Error reports: if a software error occurs on the page, your browser sends the error message, the page and script line where it happened, and the browser type to our own server (at most 3 per page). The values you enter and your IP address are not included; reports are kept briefly in the server log only to fix bugs.

Cookies and browser storage

We use no cookies for visitors, which is why there is no cookie banner. The only cookie is the session of the site administrator signed in to the admin panel (ab.sid).

Your unit preference (cm/ft, kg/lb) is kept in your browser's local storage on your own device only; it is never sent to us.

Third parties

Pages make no requests to third-party servers: fonts, images and scripts are served from this site. There are no ad networks, social media plugins or tracking pixels.

To count visitors we use Umami, a cookieless tool running on our own server. Umami does not store IP addresses or track you across sites or devices; it keeps only aggregate counts such as page views, referring site, country, browser and device type, plus events like which category was calculated (the values you enter are not sent). This data is not shared with anyone.

This site is an individual project and follows the GDPR (EU) and KVKK (Türkiye) principles by not collecting data in the first place. If this policy changes, the date above is updated.
